It’s been another gorgeous couple of days. The weather is amazing still (and has cooled down a bit, which is probably what makes it so perfect).

We’ve had lots of cold treats (milkshakes, ice creams, iced coffees, fresh juices, fresh salads) and spent the last few days in more of a chill mode. Lots of beach visits, bodyboarding and biking around. I ran with the kids yesterday as they biked to the beach and we set up for a few hours for them to ride the waves. It was pretty choppy at Milford on Sea yesterday, which was perfect for them. The beach huts are beautiful here and so vibrant with their colours.

My husband had to leave for a few days of business – motorhome servicing and doing the final touches before our former family home is fully moved into by the renters (thanks for the memories house!). We’re hoping they love it as much as we did and it treats them well.

Hoping to get out and do some more exploring further afield this week. Until then, we’ve been home educating, writing, reading and signing up to Times Table Rockstars for the kids, to help keep their times table skills alive and well! When they were at school it was part of their homework system and they both became times table superstars as it’s such a good platform – https://ttrockstars.com
I’ve been working out in the sunshine – I love exercising in the warmth. And am still reading The Lord of the Rings (nearly half way through!). I love it but it feels like I’ve had to commit myself to a long term relationship with my kindle!

Bramble always acts slightly odd when my husband is out of the house – very clingy and protective…. although his hearing is getting worse, so I’m not sure he’s a very effective guard dog anymore. But he might be known for something else soon – last night he wandered into the light netted curtain at the door and sat down, happy and peaceful. And looking like a bride! Wonder who the lucky groom is.
