Tomorrow we head off to the beautiful Lake District in Cumbria, UK. We know the area very well so it always feels like coming home!
We grabbed a last coffee and pastry this morning whilst running errands before our next part of our summer travels (so far including the south coast of the UK, a golf tour through Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, off-grid camping at Wendover Woods and day trips from our accommodation galore!
But we’re so excited to get back up to the Lakes and drink in all of the beauty, nature and well-earned beers after hours of hiking!
On the agenda so far….
- A full day of hiking (hopefully 2 depending on the predicted and much needed rain!)
- Art deco cinema
- Wild swimming at an amazing hidden location
- Golf in Keswick
- Poetry and art in Grasmere and Ambleside
- Plus, lots of pub visits, dog walks, coffees and birdwatching….
